A Road Trip Through Waterfall Valley - Day 7

A Road Trip Through Waterfall Valley - Day 7

I. Kilo Waterfalls

Back on the road, we take on the Panamerican Highway, direction south. Here you’ll get to San Jerónimo de San Pedro, a very small village which sits unassumingly at the foot of the Talamancan Mountain Range. The road is quite well until roughly 2 kilometers before you reach there, which gets very nasty and you’ll need a 4x4, otherwise you’ll have to walk.

Once there, you can buy a ticket at their Front Desk and walk their trail. Inside you’ll get to see nothing less than 14 waterfalls of different shapes and sizes. You can buy some food and they even having some camping grounds on site for those willing to spend the night. The walk is roughly 5 hours long, so you’ll probably want to spend the whole day around here. Enjoy the walk, it’s definitely worth it.
